Biografia

Judith Beatrice Bari was an American environmentalist, feminist, and labor leader, primarily active in Northern California after moving to the state in the mid-1970s. In the 1980s and 1990s, she was the principal organizer of Earth First! campaigns against logging in the ancient redwood forests of Mendocino County and related areas. In 1990, Bari was the victim of a car bombing, which she survived with minor injuries. She died of breast cancer in 1997.
